They are currently seeking a self-motivated and skilled Communications Manager to join their Leadership Team. In this position, you will play a vital role in shaping and implementing communication strategies aimed at furthering the client's mission, vision, and objectives on both national and international levels.
Your main duties will also include creating informative content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share the client’s brand, products, and services. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with brilliant presentation and organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communication plans to support organisational goals.
- Create compelling content for board and shareholder reports.
- Build relationships with media contacts and pitch stories to promote our brand.
- Facilitate internal communication channels to foster team engagement.
- Safeguard brand identity through consistent messaging and visual branding.
- Prepare for and manage crisis communication as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience creating targeted content is essential.
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
- Experience in international communications is an advantage.
