We are working with our client based in Aberdeen to source an experienced Shutdown Planner
This will be to work at the St Fergus Gas Plant
Provides planning, scheduling and control support throughout the full shutdown lifecycle; work list development, detailed planning, pre-shutdown work, shutdown execution, post-shutdown work and close-out to ensure successful delivery of the shutdown.
Develop and maintain detailed shutdown schedules in Primavera, identifying critical path activities, overall shutdown durations and resource requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed shutdown resource histograms and provide advice on the most efficient use of resources to optimize the shutdown schedule.
Develop and maintain coding structures in Primavera to support detailed reporting of shutdown activities.
Develop and maintain the progress reporting process, cycle and format.
Monitor and control planning activities throughout all phases of the shutdown lifecycle.
Develop and maintain detailed progress reports throughout all phases of the shutdown lifecycle.
Analyse the detailed shutdown schedule to identify potential threats and propose solutions to optimize the overall shutdown schedule.
Prepare and present planning data for regular meetings with shutdown stakeholders.
Ensure the CMMS is maintained for all planned shutdown activities.
Liaise with contractor representatives to ensure the timely delivery of planning information to meet delivery milestones for the detailed planning phase.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with site personnel through effective communication.
Experience & Skills: Essential:
Experienced in the planning, scheduling and control of offshore/onshore plant shutdowns.
Experienced in the use of Primavera to develop detailed shutdown schedules.
Experienced in the use of CMMS.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of offshore/onshore terminal plant and equipment.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of Maintenance, Operations, Engineering and Projects processes within the Oil and Gas industry.
Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office packages; Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
High level of interpersonal skills, effective communicator and has the ability to react positively under changing and demanding circumstances within short time periods.
Advantageous: ONC/HNC/HND/Degree in a Technical or Project Management Subject.
Knowledge and experience of Schedule Risk Analysis software.
