PA (Contract Position) - London

Salary: £135 per hour

Our client, an Oil and Gas Operator are currently seeking a PA to support their Business Unit Manager on a 5 month contract. This role will be based in London.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Providing full personal, administrative and secretarial support including submission of expenses and maintaining an up to date contact databases
  • Diary management as well as managing extensive world travel and complex itineraries, including the sourcing of hotels both in the UK and abroad for the entire team
  • Managing all travel requirements including visa and itineraries
  • Manage room booking requirements
  • Presentation preparation using Microsoft Power Point and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and databases
  • Ad hoc document formatting
  • Answering all incoming phone calls and taking messages when required
  • Ordering stationery for the office
  • Overseeing the on boarding of new starters for the team
  • Provide back up to other Team Administrators
  • General assistance as and when required to department.
  • Managing the diary of busy senior managers
  • Prioritising the work from multiple people


  • Completion of A Levels

Candidate Profile

Skills / experience:

  • Previous  experience as a PA supporting Board level.
  • Supported a large team as well as senior leaders

Knowledge (e.g. systems, software, procedures, regulations):

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

Attributes and behaviours:

  • A keen eye for detail
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage a heavy workload with conflicting priorities
  • Willingness to work and the capability to cope with frequent interruptions is required.
  • The ability to work well with other members of staff at all levels
  • The ability to work efficiently with the minimum amount of supervision using their own initiative, both individually and as a member of a specialised team.
