Deliver on asset strategies and partner management.

Establish a representation role within the company, with Partners and with external third parties.

Develop and maintain highly effective and productive relationships within the Performance & Growth Team, with internal contacts and with external contacts

Contribute to the identification, development and promotion of opportunities for the further development of the asset, infrastructure and core areas, and applying innovative approaches to deliver maximum value throughout the asset life cycle from exploration to decommissioning.

Actively develop and maintain highly effective and productive relationships with the P&G Team and with relevant internal and external contacts to ensure that the team as a whole delivers on joint venture strategies and that best practice, knowledge and experience is openly shared within the team.

Ensure efficient coordination and communication with Partners, including the provision of information necessary to support decisions. Operator, Shipper and Management committee representation for the asset export infrastructure systems.

Ensure that the company’s obligations under its JOA’s and other Agreements are fulfilled.

Identify and promote best safety and environment practice by joint venture export pipeline system operators consistent with Company and industry standards.


Relevant degree in engineering or business qualification

10-15 years experience in a oil and gas function or commercial position

Minimum of 5 years experience in a commercial or joint venture rep role Good working knowledge of UKCS upstream commercial and joint venture business practices

Ability to represent the Company both internally and externally at a senior level

Specialist knowledge of business management techniques and associated skills (contracts, finance, economic evaluation, taxation UKCS fiscal regime, business strategy, etc)

Appreciation of technical subject matters related to oil and gas (development and project engineering, process engineering, well engineering, drilling operations and geosciences)

Excellent knowledge of rules, regulations and developments governing gas markets and notably UK Highly developed negotiation skills and proven ability to influence and persuade

Clear understanding of the interactions and constraints (political, economical, technical and commercial) in oil and gas Highly developed planning and communication skills
