We are working with our client based on the south side of Aberdeen to source a Washbay Operator on a temporary basis

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Ensure all movements in and out the wash bay are carried out in a safe and controlled manner.

Maintain chemical stock levels within the wash bay as required.

Ensure all equipment requested is prepared for operational jobs in line with load out requirements as per UKOOA guidelines in a timely manner.

Maintain excellent housekeeping standards at all times.

Ensure that all Company equipment has a clean and tidy appearance to give the correct impression to the Client.

Senior Reservoir Engineer - Aberdeen

Oil and gas operator currently have an opening for a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their team for a permanent role based in Aberdeen.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead the design, maintenance and history matching of fit-for-purpose dynamic reservoir simulation models for various operated and non-operated fields. Utilise classical reservoir engineering techniques such as material balance and decline curves as appropriate to support the models.

• Identify and drive opportunities for reserves progression and increased production from the assigned producing assets, with a view to maximizing value and reserves for the company.

• Assess opportunities for future infill wells, workovers and near-field exploration targets and prepare well recommendations and AFEs as appropriate. Update and document the opportunity hopper regularly.

• Perform (and/or manage) relevant Reservoir Engineering studies (e.g. PVT, core, well test) where required.

• Work as an integrated team member with geoscientists, drilling, and production engineers to plan and design development wells, monitor well tests and field performance and optimise production.

• Active participation in relevant external reviews (e.g. OGA), JV meetings and other ad-hoc technical meetings, representing Premier as operator.

• Develop production and reserve booking profiles for input in to business unit report, CAD and year end reserves.

• Provide peer assist support and hands-on technical support to other asset teams and BD initiatives as required. Mentor less experienced reservoir engineers.

Qualifications:

A degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Preferably a post-graduate qualification in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline

We are working with our client based in Aberdeen who is looking for an HSE Coordinator based on a short term contract for 3 months.

To apply for this role, candidates must be immediately available.

The role will work closely with the HSE Compliance Lead to cover the European region, lending hands-on HSE support across a wide variety of areas including compliance, audits, tenders and contracts, as well as having heavy dealings with the operational workshop and yard teams.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Production Engineer to join our Operator client in Aberdeen on a contract basis for 12 months

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• This role is the focal point, and primary communication route, for the offshore operations team for all production related matters.

• Provide support to operations management through expert advice on plant and well performance so as to overcome problems and maximise production, through characterising sources of downtime and capacity constraints.

• Advise on production strategy and co-ordinate activities that may affect production targets so that maximum benefit is gained from process and well production within the limits of the offshore operation.

• Identify and promote production enhancement opportunities.

• Ensure all aspects of work required on the wells is fully integrated with operational requirements and the Asset planning cycle.

• Responsible for review of loss events, validation of categorisation and generation and issue of loss reports.

• Responsible for the execution of the agreed injection water programme and assurance of water quality.

• Input to forecasting process and responsible for production of gas sales profiles from reservoir wet gas profiles.

• Promote/advise well monitoring techniques and responsibility for well performance to key offshore personnel.

• Responsible for Production Chemistry Management and sampling/analysis coordination.

• Owner of the Blend Model and responsible for timely and accurate blend gas nominations.

• Issue of the Well Operating Guidelines to the offshore team.

• Participate in Well Performance Management processes

• Participate in Production Reporting processes

• Participate in analysis of well integrity issues and design of well interventions.

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCES/ QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / PROFILE

• Proven ability to work in a team environment dealing with people from various disciplines.

• A willingness to travel to Offshore Production Facilities and possession of current Offshore Survival/ Medical Certificates

• Educated to degree level in an Process/Chemical Engineering discipline with relevant Production Engineering experience.

• The ability to apply the essential skills of Production and Petroleum Engineering.

• Understanding of the operation of production associated equipment and the monitoring requirements.

Chief Reservior Engineer - Aberdeen

Oil and gas operator currently have an opening for a Chief Reservior Engineer to join their team for a 12-month contract role based in London

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Reservoir Engineering functional endorsement of Investment Memoranda and all other relevant business decisions / processes requiring ExCo approval.

• Functional assurance of reservoir engineering for asset management and reservoir management.

• Accountable for global functional performance monitoring / assessment including:

• Assurance of technical quality in project teams through regular oversight (assists & reviews).

• Ensure conformance with reservoir engineering standards and policies.

• Work with subsurface personnel throughout to ensure that a fully integrated multi-discipline approach is utilised across the business.

• Responsible for providing guidance to reservoir engineering personnel in the Business Units or the Growth Team through coaching, mentoring, provision of expert advice and the identification of suitable third party consultants.

• Accountable for classification, quantification and reporting of companywide Discovered Resources per the Corporate Discovered Resource Policy.

• Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Company’s Defence Documentation.

• Assist the Group Subsurface Manager with workforce planning of Reservoir Engineering personnel, including:

• Assistance in recruitment of high quality staff and consultants; specifically, responsible for conducting a technical interview during the recruitment process.

• Performance appraisal recommendations.

• Training & development recommendations.

 

Qualifications:

Petroleum Engineering Degree

 

Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:

• Significant (c.20+ years) post graduate experience in upstream oil and gas (exploration & production) with a key focus on reservoir engineering. Broader commercial/BD experience is valued.

• The ability to combine subsurface understanding with production systems constraints and ensure that this is proactively integrated with other disciplines (facilities, drilling, commercial, etc.).

 

Knowledge:

• Expert reservoir engineer.

• Good understanding of G&G, RE, Production Systems Engineering, facilities, well design, petroleum economics and how these disciplines are inter-linked.

• Hands-on working knowledge of key software (Petrel, Eclipse, Kappa, Petroleum Experts IPM, etc).

• Good general knowledge of the oil industry

Key Accountabilities:

• To provide technical discipline expertise to support the Asset Supply Chain Team on all contractual issues associated with the P3 Wellhead / HXT.

• To Project Manage the manufacture and delivery of the review the design, communicate with stakeholders (both internal and external), agree the QA plan, monitor progress, identify issues / solutions, issue minutes and assign actions, provide weekly updates, perform witness testing and capture risk assess any change and deliver all relevant documentation on completion of project.

We are currently seeking a Collections Analyst to join our clients team based in Bridge of Don on a permanent basis.

 

The Collections Analyst will be responsible for securing payment commitments on aged receivables. Additionally, they will maintain reporting on account statuses and cash forecasting.

 

Responsibilities:

• Send dunning letters to customers with past due receivables and pursue payment commitments.

• Create and send customer statements to customers on a monthly basis.

• Participate in A/R to A/P reconciliations with customers as required.

• Liaise with OTC Team to resolve customer disputes.

• Escalate non-responsive customers through appropriate channels.

• Create monthly and quarterly cash collection forecast and identify estimated timing of incoming receipts.

• Weekly and monthly reporting of account statuses.

• Collaborate with cash applications to appropriately apply customer payments and obtain remittance advice from customers.

• Obtain withholding tax receipts for short-pays

 

Experience/Skills Required: Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Experience within a similar role Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities. Strong organizational skills. Previous experience in oil and gas industry preferred. Proficient in Excel.

We are currently seeking a Project Accountant to join our clients team based in Westhill on a permanent basis.

The Project Accountant will be responsible for providing financial support to project teams and the Finance Department

Key Performance Areas

• Responsible for the control of significant cost packages

• Provide support and guidance to Project Managers and all relevant team members on cost control and all other project finance tasks

• Highlighting any financial risks, opportunities or issues

• Responsible for the control of all project revenue and costs

We are currently seeking a Part-time sales ledger controller for our client, based in Westhill.

This will be up to 21 hours per week; Mon to Fri to ensure timely production and recording of sales invoices based on information from Project Accountant.

Duties;

• Carry out credit control procedures.

• Advise Finance Manager (Transactions) and Financial Controller of overdue debt and the reasons for it.
